September 1, 2020 marked the official start date of our SINFONIA project. The project was selected for funding by the European Commission and will run for four years until August 31, 2024.
SINFONIA is coordinated by EIBIR. The Scientific Coordinator is Prof. John Damilakis from the University of Crete.
The project will develop novel methodologies and tools that will provide a comprehensive a risk appraisal for detrimental effects of radiation exposure on patients, workers, carers and comforters, the public and the environment during the management of patients suspected or diagnosed with lymphoma and brain tumours.
